Ana de Armas, born in Havana, Cuba on April 30, 1988, is known for her acting career that started in Spanish-language films and TV series. She gained international recognition for her role in the 2019 film “Knives Out”. De Armas, who learned English to broaden her acting opportunities, later starred in the 2021 James Bond movie “No Time to Die” and portrayed Marilyn Monroe in the 2022 film “Blonde”.
Raised in Santa Cruz del Norte, near Havana, Ana grew up with her brother. Her father, Ramón de Armas, a former teacher and school principal, and her mother, Ana Caso, an employee of the Cuban Ministry of Education, nurtured her early interest in acting.
