Ashlesha Thakur, also known as Mehak Thakur, is an actress and model. She is best known for her role as Dhriti, the daughter of Manoj Bajpayee’s character, in the Amazon Prime web series “The Family Man.” In addition to this, she has featured in Bollywood films such as “Pagglait” and “Jeena Isi Ka Naam Hai.”
Born on 19th October 2003 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, Ashlesha belongs to a Hindu family. She has two siblings: an elder brother named Aman Thakur and a sister, Ekta Thakur. She completed her schooling in Mumbai and later enrolled at Mithibai College for higher education. From her school days, Ashlesha actively participated in skits and plays, which laid the foundation for her career in the entertainment industry.
Ashlesha Thakur initiated her acting journey as a child artist, gracing numerous TV commercials including those for Himalaya, Kissan, Comfort, Dairy Milk, and Bajaj Electricals. She made her acting debut in the Bollywood film “Jeena Isi Ka Naam Hai” in 2017. In 2019, she secured a significant role in the acclaimed web series “The Family Man.” Additionally, Ashlesha was part of the TV series “Shakti Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki,” which aired on Colors TV.
