Jasmine Dhunna is an Indian film actress, best known for her role in the 1988 horror film “Veerana.” She began her acting career in 1979 with the movie “Sarkaari Mehmaan,” starring alongside Vinod Khanna. In 1984, she appeared in her second film, “Divorce,” which featured actors like Vijayendra Ghatge, Sharmila Tagore, and Girish Karnad. Unfortunately, this movie did not perform well at the box office.

Her breakthrough came in 1988 when the Ramsay brothers cast her as the lead in the successful horror film “Veerana,” where she co-starred with Hemant Birje. “Veerana” turned out to be a massive box office hit. Jasmine Dhunna also made a brief appearance as a fairy in the film “Hatim Tai” (1990). However, after this movie, she disappeared from the industry, and her whereabouts remain unknown to this day.

There have been speculations that her real name might be Jasmine Bhatia. Reports suggested that she received inappropriate proposals from the underworld, leading to her departure from the film industry. Rumors circulated that she might have married an NRI named Rahul Tugnait and settled in New York, United States of America.
