Shaheen Jaffrey, also known as Shaheen Aggarwal, is a former model and is notably recognized as the first girlfriend of the actor Salman Khan. She was born on 29th September 1968 to a diverse heritage, with her father Hameed Jaffrey being a Muslim from Lucknow and her mother Valerie Salway having Christian roots with Scottish, Irish, Portuguese, and Spanish ancestry.

Hameed Jaffrey, her father, was the brother of the esteemed actor Saeed Jaffrey. She also has a younger half-brother, Sahil Jaffrey, from her father’s second marriage to Bharati Ganguly, who is the eldest daughter of the veteran actor Ashok Kumar.  

Anooradha Patel is married to actor Kanwaljit Singh, and the couple has two sons, Aditiya Singh and Sidharth Singh. Her niece is the well-known actress Kiara Advani, whose mother, Genevieve Jaffrey, is Shaheen’s elder sister. Actress Anooradha Patel is her step-sister, born to Bharati Jaffrey from her first husband, Dr. Veerendra Patel, who practices as an orthodontist in Mumbai.

Shaheen Jaffrey pursued a career as a model and was romantically involved with Indian actor Salman Khan during her twenties, before Salman achieved stardom with “Maine Pyar Kiya” (1989). She is acknowledged as Salman Khan’s first girlfriend, and their relationship ended when Salman began to show interest in Sangeeta Bijlani, who was crowned Miss India at the time.
