Social Security Pension Scheme [RajSSP]
The Government of Rajasthan introduced the old-age pension scheme to provide social security to the destitute old, widow, abandoned, disabled, and poor people.
The government will sanction 500 rupees and 750 rupees in their account every month who will be eligible for this scheme. The main objective of the scheme is to provide a pension to the poor and destitute elderly.
- Aged destitute aged 55 years (female) and 58 years (male) or older.
- Widow women above the age of 18 but up to 39 years of age who live below the poverty line (BPL).
- Abandoned woman above the age of 18 but up to 59 years of age who lives below the poverty line.
- Persons with disabilities who live below the poverty line from the age of 6 to 18 years, whose
- percentage of disability is 40 or more, will be approved for the promotion of disabled education.
- Persons with disabilities living below the poverty line from the age of 18 to 59 years, whose percentage of disability is 40 or more.
- Inmates aged above 55/58 years living in old age will get pension.
